The Digital Rupee by Kotak Bank offers a seamless and secure way to conduct transactions, bringing the convenience of digital payments to users across India.

Digital Rupee, also known as eRupee, is an invite-based initiative introduced by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). This new form of currency, considered legal tender and akin to sovereign paper currency, is issued digitally by the Reserve Bank of India. At present, access to Digital Rupee is limited to Kotak Bank customers through invitation only.

The Kotak Digital Rupee app aims to facilitate secure, expedited digital currency transactions through a digital wallet. This eRupee wallet functions similarly to a physical wallet but in digital form on your device.
